By Grace Through Faith – Pt.1

Grace and Peace to you from God. Have no other Gospel than that of Jesus Christ, our deliverer, our rescuer. We must recognize He is not only our savior, but also our Lord and let Him lead. Seek to please Him alone. Either our faith is in Jesus or in ourselves.

Why I Give

Three things that motivate generosity (a Christian Virtue). Let it be your legacy.

Questions God Asks – Pt.4

Jesus asks, to what benefit is gaining the world? We must understand that Christianity is not a warm blanket, it is the Cross. Deny yourself, take up your cross and follow me, Jesus said. It is the only repair for our broken happiness-detector. Choose Jesus and be transformed.

Practice – Service

If we are thinking of serving others by trying harder, there we are missing something. Serving needs to be part of a spiritual discipline. Practice serving through your gifts and in serving sacrificially.

Imagine a City Changed

God tells the Israelites to seek the welfare of the city when they were exiled to Babylon. For he knows the plans for them, to prosper them. In a similar way we should seek the welfare of out city. Though we are exiles in this land and a culture separate from this culture. Have an impact.

Faith and Money

Ecclesiastes – Pt.7 Money is a tool, don’t let it become an idol. Work hard, work honest and trust in the Lord to provide.

How to Approach God

Ecclesiastes – Pt.6 How should one approach God? Your words have weight, don’t take them lightly. Approach God with fear (reverence). Not as in “be scared”, but with great humility and respect.
