Can you imagine holding God’s hand to cross the street? Crying on his shoulder, trusting him to comfort you? Like the dad you have, or wish your had. Or maybe the dad you hope to be?
God is not concerned with being politically correct. He loves all his children equally, male, female, first born or last, we all inherit. Not because we behave perfectly. That’s an unreasonable expectation that Jesus fulfilled for us and saved us from.
We only need to believe. To have faith in our Father. To trust that our Father is holding our hands and watching out for our good, protecting us from evil, comforting us in bad times and smiling with us in good times. Like the perfect Dad that He is.
