Sermons from July 2018
We were once darkness and now we are light. Christ rescued us from the darkness. So confess and repent, expose our lives to the light and be discerning. What will bring God glory. That is what will fulfill our every need. Walk with precision and purpose continually filled with God’s Spirit.
Take sin seriously! It wreaks havoc on our souls. We were created for something much better.
Have you ever had a gift so special you did not know how to respond? In our continued teaching of the epistle to the Ephesians, Paul switches gears from who we are in Christ to how we walk in light of the unbelievable gift God has given us in Christ.
Understanding who we are in Christ sets us up to be stuards of Gods grace. Don’t be discouraged, be strengthened from the inside. Paul prays that we may know the uncomprehendable love of Christ and be filled.
Again, your identity: remember you were formally excluded, now you are included. Jesus breaks down the wall of enmity and calls us to be unified in the church. Build on His foundation, build the temple with living stones.
