The cross was a symbol of savage brutality and intimidation and in Jesus sacrifice He changed it to be a symbol of enduring love and faithful hope.
Do not grow weary in doing good. Restore in the spirit of gentleness. We need to have an accurate understanding of sin and not be condemning about it. Mend each other.
Does your life represent works of the flesh or fruits of the Spirit. What we produce shows what we are. We should be growing healthy fruit, Paul tells us to Walk by the Spirit and grow fruit of the Spirit. Jesus changes everything.
You who feel justified by the law must live all the law. You who pick and choose parts of faith, act as your own gods. Let God be God. Live in the freedom He gave us in Grace, not freedom in the flesh.
David delighted in the Law, for he knew how lost we were before God gave the Law as a guide. But Jesus completes the Law and offers us freedom from the slavery of legalism and freedom from sin. This relationship is superior. Why go back to slavery?
We are made to worship and if it is not God it will be something else, including our selves. But only God will satisfy. All idols leave us enslaved. Find freedom in the fulfilling worship of Jesus.

Faith preceded the law. It is not by following rules that we are redeemed it is by faith. What is your faith growth plan?
