More Than Conquerors – Week 4
Paul’s primary point through Romans chapter 8 is all about what Jesus has done for us on the Cross. No matter what you are up against, look to the Cross. God does not condemn those who are in Christ, He will use all things for good. The good news is the love of Christ! And He invited us into His love (John 15:9). Live in that truth. No matter where you are at, no matter what is against you, return…
More Than Conquerors – Week 3
How things should be and how they are do not match up. The reason is sin. Like a crack in a screen, there is a flaw in the perfection of creation. All creation groans, we groan, the Spirit groans for the completion of redemption (Romans 8:18-30). It is not that suffering should not be minimized, it is that the glory of God’s redemption should be maximized (2 Corinthians 4:16-18). God will complete the good work He has started (Philippians 1:6).

What does it look like to be receptive to the message of God’s kingdom? The seed sprouts in good…
Following Jesus – Week 1
Isaiah chapters 40-55 are called the ‘comfort poems.’ They are a backdrop to the Gospel of Matthew. They tell of the Messiah’s return and hope of the promised Kingdom of God (Isaiah 52:1-10). Matthew is diligent to make clear that fulfillment of the entire story of the Hebrew Bible is found in Jesus. He begins the Gospel with the genealogy from the promise to Abraham (Matthew 1:1-17). Immerse ourselves in the story because we still have a part to play…
Look to Jesus
Pastor Donnie takes a look at Jesus through the eyes of Peter and examines how Peter’s understanding of Jesus and who He is changed and deepened over time through five different encounters between the two.
Foretold – Part 3
Jesus made His third and final prediction of His own death and resurrection as He prepared to make His triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday. Knowing the horrific death that awaited Him there, He courageously entered the Holy City to accomplish what only He could on the cross.
