That You May Believe – Part 2

Have you ever seen an offer that seems just too good to be true? In order to believe something that is being offered to us, we have to trust the source of the offer. Trust is foundational in all relationships.

That You May Believe – Part 1

The gospel of John is an eyewitness testimony of his experience with Jesus. He wrote his gospel so that those who read it would believe that Jesus is the Son of God, and that we might have life in His name.

Let There Be Light – Pt. 2

Light brings a feeling of warmth. Even when it is cold outside, the sight of the sun can bring a feeling of warmth with it. Jesus is the Light of the world. He does not reflect the light like the moon does. He is the source of light like the sun!

Going Public – Pt. 2

Jesus calls His followers to be the light of the world. He calls them to go out and make disciples. You don’t have to have all the answers to all the questions before you go public with your faith. God has positioned you in someone’s life that will only hear the gospel message from you. All you need to say is, “This is what happened to me!”

Going Public – Pt. 1

Do you have a private faith or a public faith? Our faith is supposed to be visible to all. It is supposed to be shared. Our faith needs to permeate our whole person because most people can’t disconnect the “message” from “the messenger.” This is why our lives have to reflect the message we are trying to communicate.

Living Water

Do you see people the way Jesus saw people? Do you find yourself looking to something or someone other than God to quench you spiritual thirst? Do you represent Jesus in fullness of grace and truth? Jesus portrayed the fullness of grace and truth, not a balance of the two, and it is important to understand the difference between these two ideas. We should be passionate because of experiencing Jesus.
