Over the past few weeks we have talked about where Ahaz and Hezekiah put their trust; Ahaz into his own plan and Hezekiah surrendered it all to God. Even though the nation was eventually sent into exile because of their worship of idols, God did not give up on His people or His plan (Isaiah 40:1-8).
