]]> We often think laws and rules are unnecessary, that we know better. Until we face a situation where the reasoning behind the law becomes clear.  We received the laws through Moses and they were meant to lead and guide us closer to God, our tutor or guide until Jesus came to fulfill His promise to Abraham. Jesus fulfilled the law. His sacrifice redeemed us from our transgressions so the distance between us and God could be closed permanently.
