But we need to fan the flame to keep it hot and growing, "for God gave us a spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control." Being on fire for God warms and inspires everyone around you!

]]> We use the metaphor of being “on fire” all the time. God uses this metaphor in Scripture all the time. From the burning bush and pillar of fire in Exodus to the flame of fire when the Holy Spirit descends in Acts. God starts the fire in us and we need to fan it such that it ignites others. Have the mind set of being filled with the Spirit not the mind set of fear.
