It is not that suffering should not be minimized, it is that the glory of God’s redemption should be maximized (⁠2 Corinthians 4:16-18⁠). God will complete the good work He has started (⁠Philippians 1:6⁠).

]]> Have you ever gotten into the middle of a project and forgotten why you began it? Sometimes the Christian walk is that way. Today in Galatians 2:15-20 Paul reminds us why we follow Christ. What His sacrifice means, what Jesus has done for us. He didn’t just wipe the slate clean, or merely help us break-even on the whole sin versus good scale. Our Lord and savior made us justified and righteous. Our permanent record isn’t only made blank by His sacrifice, but it is marked “JESUS” with his righteousness.
