Even though our bodies are temporary tents, we are being renewed day by day preparing us to take possession of a greater dwelling in heaven. So while on earth we are called to serve Jesus to the best of our ability.

]]> Is this really what God wants me to do with my life? Is making plastic parts or delivering pizza or waiting tables helping to build God’s Kingdom?

In order to know our purpose, we must first realize Who We Are. We are the clay pots filled with the power that created the universe. After we understand this, everything becomes so much clearer. We live in a temporary body (an earthly tent) that someday will be replaced with with a glorified one. This should give us great confidence to serve Christ with no fear.

So how are you supposed to live? Whatever you do, do it as if you are doing it for our King. Serve by doing your best with love. Serve others with love, deliver pizza with love, server others with enthusiasm. Everything you do, do it to glorify Him. As Paul said , “to live is Christ”

Love God with all your heart. All your mind. And all your soul. And loving your neighbor as you love yourself. Let His Spirit shine within you.
