What a joyous event! Yet, we still wait. The King has come and eternal Kingdom has started, but we are still in a time of transformation. In this time, with a surrendered heart like David has taught us, we get to enjoy Him now and forever (2 Corinthians 3:18).

In Luke 15, Jesus shares parables of a lost sheep, a lost coin, and a lost son to illustrate God’s heart for those who are spiritually lost. His love is proactive, urgent, and filled with joy when the lost are found.

This sermon invites us to join in God’s search party by valuing people as He does, praying for their salvation, and sharing the story of His grace in our lives. It challenges us to create a church culture where the lost and wandering feel safe coming home and reminds us that heaven’s great joy comes when even one lost soul is found.

The post An Invitational Life – Week 6 first appeared on Liferoads Church.

Where is the Church in Jesus life? Good question, since Jesus only says the word twice. But when He talks about the Church, it is very weighty.

We need the Church - to grow, to learn, to love each other.
The Church needs us - to encourage each other, to help each other.

The Church was born in song, it is an act of worship and God blesses us through the Church as we bless others.
