Belong

There is a shift in how this culture sees community. It is not as deep. It is not as frequent. But we still need that community. The Church should be meeting this role. Pursue community in Christ.

Believe

Humanity has a desperate need for meaning. Jesus offers us that meaning and a life abundant.

On Fire

God gave us a gift, a flame, of joy and passion. But we need to fan the flame to keep it hot and growing, “for God gave us a spirit of fear but of power and love and self-control.” Being on fire for God warms and inspires everyone around you!

By Grace Through Faith – Pt.12

Do not grow weary in doing good. Restore in the spirit of gentleness. We need to have an accurate understanding of sin and not be condemning about it. Mend each other.

Does your life represent works of the flesh or fruits of the Spirit. What we produce shows what we are. We should be growing healthy fruit, Paul tells us to Walk by the Spirit and grow fruit of the Spirit. Jesus changes everything.

You who feel justified by the law must live all the law. You who pick and choose parts of faith, act as your own gods. Let God be God. Live in the freedom He gave us in Grace, not freedom in the flesh.

David delighted in the Law, for he knew how lost we were before God gave the Law as a guide. But Jesus completes the Law and offers us freedom from the slavery of legalism and freedom from sin. This relationship is superior. Why go back to slavery?
