Paradox – Part 2

Peter needed to understand what is required to follow Jesus. The paradox is that in order to find his life he had to lose it. This requires a change of mindset; take your mind off the things of man and put it on the things of God.

Hallelujah for the Cross

The word “hallelujah” comes from the two Hebrew words meaning “praise God.” This Easter, we praise God for the cross, and for the love He had for us that led Him to make the ultimate sacrifice.

By Grace Through Faith – Pt.12

Do not grow weary in doing good. Restore in the spirit of gentleness. We need to have an accurate understanding of sin and not be condemning about it. Mend each other.

By Grace Through Faith – Pt.11

Does your life represent works of the flesh or fruits of the Spirit. What we produce shows what we are. We should be growing healthy fruit, Paul tells us to Walk by the Spirit and grow fruit of the Spirit. Jesus changes everything.

By Grace Through Faith – Pt.10

You who feel justified by the law must live all the law. You who pick and choose parts of faith, act as your own gods. Let God be God. Live in the freedom He gave us in Grace, not freedom in the flesh.

By Grace Through Faith – Pt. 9

David delighted in the Law, for he knew how lost we were before God gave the Law as a guide. But Jesus completes the Law and offers us freedom from the slavery of legalism and freedom from sin. This relationship is superior. Why go back to slavery?

By Grace Through Faith – Pt.8

We are made to worship and if it is not God it will be something else, including our selves. But only God will satisfy. All idols leave us enslaved. Find freedom in the fulfilling worship of Jesus.
