Why do missions?
Jesus answers us by saying Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. — Matthew 28:19-20 ESV
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. — Acts 1:8
We are to be Christs witnesses, fulfilling the Great Commission in our cities (Jerusalem), in our states and countries (Judea and Samaria), and anywhere else God sends us (to the ends of the earth).
World Missions
We have been working to help a school in Africa reach its community with the love of Christ for the last couple years and God has done some pretty amazing things already. Check out some of our videos below of the last trip to Africa and an interview with Ronnie about some of the needs of the community of Mityana.
Community Outreach
We are always looking of ways to show Christs love in our community. Some of our most recent efforts have been collecting school supplies and backpacks and opening a free store for our neighborhood. We have also loaded trucks and dumpsters by picking up and hauling trash and yard waste for our neighbors for free. We have a short video of one of the Garbage to Grace project below.
How can I help?
Please be praying about how God can use you to make a difference in the world around you and keep checking back regularly for upcoming outreach events and mission trips.
